Agave syrup is produced from various species of agave plant in Mexico. The Mexican standard NOM-003-SAGARPA-2016 regulates many parameters, such as water content, sugar content, pH-value or microbiological criteria. In addition to these parameters, we also offer the detection of adulteration with foreign sugars by 13C EA-IRMS / LC-IRMS and NMR analysis.
